Philippe PELLET

 

 

Philippe is a French geologist who has been living and working in Hungary since 2005. After thirty years of professional activities in the field of water resources and environmental protection, he decided in 2020 to devote himself to the study and research in the fields of the Christian persecution and Secularism. In 2021 he started a PhD in the field of Public Administration; his research topic focuses on examining the conditions of Christian values in a secular state through the case of the French Republic. During his career he had worked for many years in several Asian and African countries, where he could experience several and various cultural, social and religious interactions.

He has also been actively involved in the Hungarian governmental program of humanitarian aid and support for persecuted Christian communities around the world ("Hungary Helps" program). These field experiences with his French roots and his ongoing PhD studies constitute the basis of his research topic on the phenomena of Christian persecution in Africa as well as on the issue of secularism in France and Europe, in general.  

Phillipe is married with five children.
